Trade Journal 2/24/10

This morning there was an announcement on New Home Sales. The news came in worse than expected and the market dropped. I made 2 points (20%) on the initial movement. There was a correction after about three minutes and the market came back close to where it started. The housing news was pretty bad, so I anticipated another drop. I placed an order short and the market dropped. I made another 2 points on this movement. In all, I made 4 points (40%) in about 5 minutes. This movement was a classic movement-correction-movement as Market Mover Trading teaches. It's a beautiful thing when the market moves just like it's supposed to.

A couple months ago I reluctantly agreed to go to a meeting about trading in the market. I knew very little about trading, but my conceptions were mostly negative. But even with my negative attitude I was blown away at what I learned. Here’s the story…

A couple entrepreneurs who have been professional traders for years, and have personally trained hundreds of traders, noticed some very interesting patterns. Based on these patterns, they developed an incredible method that simplifies trading and minimizes risk. They’ve created incredible online tools, strategies and a training system to teach anyone how to do this.

So after some research, I decided to give it a try. I watched the training videos, downloaded the trading software, signed up for a simulated trading account, and started "paper" trading. Paper trading uses the same software as live trading, but you're practicing with "Monopoly" money.

In five weeks of paper trading, I won 84% of my trades and I was up over 200% on my money. I turned the $2,500 that I started with into $7,900. Now I've been trading live for a couple of weeks and I've won 80% of my trades and I'm up 55% on my money. I know several other people who have recently started using this system and every one of them is having results similar to mine.

THIS IS NOT DAY TRADING. This proprietary new trading program is called Market Mover Trading. MMT provides training and information on how much the market is going to move immediately after economic indicator announcements like Unemployment, Housing, Consumer Confidence, Manufacturing, etc. Market Mover Traders are typically in and out of trades in 3 minutes or less. Our motto is: Get in, get out, get on with your day.

MMT provides a real-time news server and teaches how to interpret the announcements so that you can take advantage of the predicted movement. Each trade takes about 15 minutes, including prep time. There are usually 5 to 8 announcements per week and most of them take place between 6:30 am and 8:00 am (MST). You can literally spend 2-3 hours per week trading and make hundreds or even thousands of extra dollars, depending on the amount of money you trade with. I am well on my way, and I know several people who are doing the same.
